This two-week course will further develop the skills of fingerprint practitioners and evaluates their knowledge and understanding of fingerprint theory and analysis. Practitioners will be formatively assessed throughout with summative assessments.
Who is this Course for?
This course is designed for existing fingerprint practitioners who have 12-18-months of experience in an operational fingerprint bureau.

The course will provide practitioners with development in ACE-V, palm print recognition, crime scene awareness, recovery and development of fingerprints at the crime scene, techniques for fingerprinting cadavers, introduction to preparation and providing fingerprint evidence.
The Intermediate Fingerprints course will include the following:
• Review of ACE-V practice
• Review and Development of Palm Recognition and Comparison
• Crime Scene Awareness
• Introduction to Fingerprint Development Techniques (Crime Scene & Lab)
• Fingerprinting Techniques, including Fingerprinting from Cadavers
• Introduction to the Preparation and Presentation of Evidence
This course is a 2-week course.
