We are expanding rapidly and looking for a content marketing & PR executive who can hit the ground running. This role is ideal for someone who is at a PR Assistant or Content Marketing Executive level looking to take a step-up in their career and specialise in content marketing and PR.

Your New Team

You will be joining our growing Sales and Marketing team and become immersed in all content marketing and PR activities across The Forensic Access Group. The team work closely on a variety of marketing and PR activities across all the companies within the Forensic Access Group, and welcome all ideas on how to create engaging content campaigns more effectively to help drive enquiries across the group.

 

Our Headquarters

We are based in Grove Business Park, South Oxfordshire which is set in 32 acres of land on the former Grove Airfield site between Wantage and Grove. These offices are an easy commute from areas of Reading, Swindon, Newbury and Oxford.

 

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone who can work closely with the Digital Marketing Executive to produce marketing and PR materials to support content marketing campaigns across different companies within the Forensic Access Group.

  • Writing pin-sharp copy across a variety of short and long-form content types including services pages, news items, newsletters, press releases and social updates
  • Support stakeholders with written content across a variety of media from video and webinars to podcasts
  • Interviewing scientists and stakeholders to create engaging content for websites, socials and videos
  • Developing an understanding (with tuition) of what makes for engaging content for our target audiences
  • Managing publication across social media accounts (LinkedIn and Twitter)
  • Handling and progressing inbound media enquiries across channels including, print, radio and TV
  • Building outbound media relationships and PR opportunities
  • Identify new and broaden existing relationships with journalists and publications to promote our services to relevant audiences
  • Develop house style guide for the group which can be tailored to individual businesses and ensure brand consistency is maintained
  • Work with the Content Marketing Manager to develop a content strategy and plan a content calendar
  • Assisting with internal communications
  • Managing content creation and distribution of newsletters (Mailchimp)
  • Use of Adobe Creative Cloud to produce social assets and brochures.
  • Support our Training and Events Manager with content marketing activities
  • Monthly reporting of content performance
  • Ability to take ownership of work and deliver campaigns from start to finish.

 

We would love to speak to anyone who has the following experience and skills:

  • Experience writing engaging B2B marketing copy in a regulated sector
  • Ability to articulate complicated ideas into understandable, compelling, and creative copy across a range of formats
  • A meticulous eye for detail and experience subbing your own work
  • An inquisitive mind and willingness to learn content skills including creating and editing video content
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines on multiple projects
  • Highly enthusiastic with great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized and used to taking ownership of workload and deliverables
  • Hands-on attitude, with the ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of Content Management Systems (desired)
  • Existing relationships with journalists and news publications (desired)
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana or Trello (desired)
  • Experience working with scheduling tools such as Hootsuite (desired)
  • Fluency with all Office products, notably Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

 

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or similar or equivalent qualifications
