This one day basic introduction to blood pattern staining on clothing is aimed at anyone dealing with incidents involving bleeding injuries to give them a broad appreciation of what to expect when an incident involves violence or a bleeding injury.
It is aimed at evidence recovery unit staff, crime scene investigators, police officers and first responders as well as anyone who wants to gain an understanding of blood pattern analysis on clothes. It will enable participants to learn how blood can be deposited and the types of stain or pattern which can be obtained.
The course will be delivered by our own highly experienced blood pattern analysis scientists, who are members of the IABPA and will be able to provide practical knowledge, experience, and case examples to give context and meaning to the material being taught.
The course will also have an all-important practical element, which will bring to life some of the key elements described in the lectures and give participants greater depth of knowledge as to the behaviours and visualisation of blood.
